Hello Everyone!

Artistic Bead is located in Historic Valley Junction at 234 Fifth Street, on the corner of 5th and Elm, West Des Moines, IA. 

We specialize in Beadweaving, Fibers, and Wireworking and our main product focus is on glass seed beads, Swarovski crystals, Czech glass, and stringing materials.  We are now carrying many of your favorite fibers that Donna's Collectibles stocked in her shop.

We publish a monthly Class Calendar which features many Nationally Recognized Instructors.  You can view the current montly calendars here on the website, stop by the shop and pick one up, or email us at cheryl@artisticbead.com, or give us a call (515) 334-0020, and we'd be happy to send you one the "old fashion" snail mail way if you'd like.

We always have special events being held in the shop as well as our great selection of classes. Ladies' Night Out is usually held at least once monthly.  Everyone is invited to come and share their latest Artistic project and bring your favorite dish to the potluck.  Also, Open Studio is held every Saturday and Sunday, and on Thursday evenings we are open till 8 PM for Farmer's Market, so bring your beads, fibers, or any other creative project, and join us for socializing and a mental break from all the busy activities of the summer.
